I just noticed I have not updated this blog for a while, as I’ve been very busy with other projects and upcoming products. Don’t worry, that is going to change as we have a lot of new stuff for you here at TheManicMarketer.com.However, after a phone call with a client today I want to share some of the advice with you that I gave to him for small business promotion.
He has a small business and has just created his first website. Now his website looks absolutely phenomenal and he spent a lot of money on development. His website looks as good as any professional website out there and he has listened to a lot of my advice over time about search engine optimization and how to target certain keywords.
What he needed, on a limited budget, was a way to drive targeted traffic to his website in his specific niche. So I suggest it a look at article marketing as a great way to target certain keywords and use these articles as lead generators for his business.
Given the vastness of the world wide web and the infinite number of web pages, it is easy to see the importance of ranking high on search engine return pages (SERPs). In an ideal world, the best webpage which contains a wealth of accurate content, helpful links and nice pictures to boot would be at the top.
However, the world of the web is less than ideal. Many businesses will, happily, pay large sums of money to SEO experts expecting a high ranking. If the business is able to keep the competitors at bay and the return on investment (ROI) is large enough, then the price is justified, and rightly so.
But, what about the smaller businesses; the ones that are unable to pay for their own SEO experts? Can there really be such a thing as search engine optimization for dummies? By the way, that is just a term; no offense intended!
Happy Thanksgiving To You All!
Pinging is a basic process that notifies blog search engines that you have made an update to your site and lets everyone who may be looking for information related to the topics you target find you easily.
For the most part, people use Pingomatic.com which let's several services know that you have made an update, but as many of you know... I like to take things to the next level. So I compiled a list of over 100+ ping sites and places that you can notify when you make an update to your site.
As some of you know, I am a huge supporter of the Military and our brave troops who are currently serving overseas. Also, as many of you know we recently launched “Operation Cash Tornado” that donated 50% of all profits to the troops and showed you 3 very powerful ways you can make $100/Day or more.
Well, this product did not have a huge build up or pre-launch and any JVs at all. That being said I am please to announce that we just donated the first chunk of cold hard cash to our brave troops and I cannot thank you enough for your help!
For many marketers I am sure your eyeballs are popping out of your skulls thinking "Wow, that would be so useful" and there may be others going "Huh? What does that do for me". Well for the latter crowd let me explain why this is so powerful. When you are link building for your website or you have just created a new page and you want to get it indexed almost instantly by Google, MSN and Yahoo then pinging your page to the blog search engines is one of the fastest ways to get the job done.
Well it’s has been an incredible few week’s and I have been slacking off from posting on the blog. We have been working on a brand-new product launch with some of the top names in Internet marketing industry. Suffice to say, we are all very excited here and have been running around like crazy trying to get all of our ducks in a row and get everything ready for launch day. As we work through our launch cycle and getting everything ready it reminded me of a small story from many years ago I wanted to share with you. I started off as an entrepreneur at the age of 10. Yes, I know that’s young but we all have to start somewhere.
Viral email marketing is one of the most profitable and underused forms of promoting your products and services. You can easily contact several thousands or even millions of new potential customers at one time and have them spread your e-mail message, promoting your business and generating income for you without even realizing they are doing so. Understanding the dynamics of making such a viral email is crucial to success and there are a few things you've got to consider when creating an e-mail that may spread like wildfire.
The when it comes to e-mail marketing strategies we have this constant vision that “the money is in the list”. This mindset is true to a certain extent as staying in constant contact with your existing customers is a great way to maintain and cultivate future sales. However, successful e-mail marketing strategy depends on balance in many areas. Balance in trying to sell something in your e-mails and balance in the amount of e-mails you send over a period of time.
